COVID 19 PROCEDURES
In accordance wit the new bylaws regarding mandatory masks on July 31st 2020, it is required that all persons must wear a mask upon entry to any doors for any reasons to the building. TMasks are only to be removed when consuming food at your table. All those not wearing face protective gear (masks or shields) will be required to vacate the facility. This includes entry for the purpose of washrooms. We will have an outside service area option for the pro shop and the clubhouse dining service. Thank you for your co-operation in ensuring our team and guests are safe and remain healthy.
Twenty Valley is taking specific measures to help prevent the possible spread of COVID 19. Our #1 priority is the well-being and safety of our members, guests and employees during this pandemic. We continually monitor the federal and provincial public health recommendations for Covid-19 and commit to follow the latest directions provided by the relevant health authorities. We expect all our members, guests and employees to follow all protocols in place while on golf course property. The listing below is not all inclusive but does represent our current plans. As restrictions are lifted, staffing levels increase and training is completed we will be making modifications and offering as many club services and amenities as possible.
Stay home if you are experiencing any symptoms of Covid-19
Self-monitor for symptoms of COVID-19 which includes a cough, fever and difficulty breathing. If any symptoms are felt go home immediately and follow the advice of public health
Practice safe physical distancing. Always stay a minimum of 2 meters or 6 feet apart
No pre or post round handshakes or high fives
Keep your hands clean, wash them often for at least 20 seconds and/or use hand sanitizer when available
Consider bringing your own hand sanitizer and PPE as an extra level of safety
Tee Times intervals will be expanded to provide distance between groups
No walk-ons permitted; tee times must be booked in advance prior to visiting our pro shop. Tee times can be made online or by calling the Pro Shop
Arrive no earlier than 20 minutes before your booked tee time. Stay in your car until the greeter notifies you that the check in process can begin
Leave the property immediately following the completion of your round and travel home safely
The Clubhouse will be closed. Pro Shop is open however it will be limited to three people at one time check in can also be done through the window facing the first tee and similar to what you would experience at a drive through
All golfers must check in with the Pro Shop before the round of golf
Golfers will be required to handle their own clubs from arrival until departure
Do not touch anyone else’s equipment including golf balls and tees
Outside alcohol is not permitted on golf course property as per government regulations. Alcohol can be purchased on site at the halfway house and on course location.
In the event that your round is rained out, proceed to your car for shelter, if rain checks are required please line up at the Pro Shop window while practicing social distancing to receive your rain check
The putting green will only be available prior to your round to warm up
Follow all ground markings and signage to maintain physical distancing
Follow all directions from course staff and ambassadors
Power Carts have government approved cart dividers that will allow two golfers who do not reside in the same house hold ride together.
Power carts may not be taken up to the parking lot to load up prior to round.
Increasing the frequency of cleaning and disinfecting in all areas of high use such as washrooms, door handles and payment areas
Placing additional hand sanitizer stations in high traffic areas such as payment areas and washroom exits
Designated washrooms are available
Additional training to all employees on safety and sanitary precautions and protocols
Adding signage around the clubhouse and on course reminding all golfers and employees to take preventative measures to minimize risk
Limited Food & Beverage Items will be available at Halfway house and on course location
All water refilling stations will be closed. You are encouraged to bring water bottles from home.
Leave the flag in place while putting. Holes will be equipped with cup covers for easy retrieval of golf balls.
Encourage gimmes
Bunker rakes have been removed. Smooth sand in the bunker with your foot and place the ball to play shot
Ball washers, benches and any touch points have been removed from the golf course
It is extremely important that all Members and Guests abide by the protocols above and any direction provided by staff or our ambassadors. Failure to do so will result in the individual(s) being asked to leave the facility. We all must be socially responsible for our actions and behaviour so that golf can remain open for the enjoyment of all.
